Ironically, I purchased this fur jacket on a hot summer day. I wasn’t sure how I would rock it, but I knew I would “make it work,” in the famous words of Tim Gunn. The back of the sleeves and collar have thick swede detailing, which really makes this piece unique. Luckily, I was able to talk the price down from $80 to $30. I must say this jacket is one of my favorite purchases. Fur Jacket (Goodwill $30)

I love the detailing of this blouse, including the sequence/bead work, the sheer sleeves and the distinct patterns. The blouse was too big, so I decided to rock it as a mini dress and paired it with some black spandex shorts. The funky tights were probably unnecessary, as the outfit already had so much going on. Last night at the Grammy’s Rihanna wore a long black dress by Giorgio Armani. The dress was cut low in the front and back. Needless to say she looked amazing! I also love her new frizzy blonde hair.

Pretty in Red! Wearing bright red is perfect for the holiday season. Our twin outfits and frizzy hair were a complete coincidence, sure ;-) Majority of my outfit (on the left) was purchased at different consignment stores. I love consignment stores, because they usually have unique pieces for affordable prices. Also you usually don’t have to worry about someone else stealing your exact outfit. My favorite piece is the fur vest, because it automatically dresses up any outfit.
